Patty’s class turned out to be just what I was looking for, that I didn’t even know existed. It was revelational. […] She thoughtfully breaks down the most basic motions of knitting technique, explains what is happening, and why it’s important.

Improve your Knitting is a great course that is sure to be a lot of fun for knitters of all experience levels. Watching through all the lessons — even the ones that cover styles you already know — can benefit your knitting and just get you thinking about why you knit the way you do.
[…]Lyons is a fun and enthusiastic teacher who remains engaging through a screen and passes on a wealth of knowledge in a way that makes you want to try new things.

An impressive curriculum, likely to improve any knitter’s skill level.
The class name says it all! Patty carefully and methodically examines a wide range of knitting styles and methods (probably more than you have ever dreamed existed). This class is not aimed at brand new knitters, but for everyone who has mastered knits and purls, no matter how long you have been at it, there is something to be learned. I had several “aha!” moments, and was quite impressed by the presentation style. Patty is a seasoned, skilled and natural teacher.

Lyons had an empathetic sense of humor with her pupils, going from table to table and gauging their faces to make sure they were not lost.
I don’t think I’m being hyperbolic here—Patty Lyons’ classes changed my life. At the very least, they fundamentally changed the way I knit.
She is one of the most knowledgeable teachers I know and I appreciate how she not only shows you how to do knitting stuff—she also explains why you’re doing it. It’s like a magician showing you an amazing trick and then telling you how the trick is done.
