Can you tell me what the name of the plant is that is pink and green variegated? It is the second picture down after the words, “Things were starting to bud all over the place in our little garden.” Thanks!

  • I can’t actually. I got it at the Brooklyn Botanic Members Preview Plant Sale. It didn’t have a tag and nobody could tell me what it was.

I’m 90% sure this plant is ajuga (burgundy glow). Some specimens are lighter than others and the more sun it gets, the lighter it gets and the more the pink shows. I have it growing along my front walk, and it’s a real charmer. It flower in a light purple spire. Hope this helps

  • the kitchen looks good! i fought hard for cork when we redid the apt but since we did it with aim to sell i didn’t fight too hard so i will live vicariously through yours. and plan the house kitchen remodel. maybe it’ll give me incentive to replace the grill first. 😉

  • Sweet blog! I found it while browsing on Yahoo News. Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News?
I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there!
