Another TNNA = 4 days of yarn, students and friends

Twice a year, all the knitting, crochet, weaving, spinning, needlepoint and embroidery professionals across the land (and a few other lands) get together for our annual trade show. The summer show is in my favorite location. I’ve been going there since 2007, and I have my favorite lunch spots, dinner spots, my favorite hotel . . . and now I find out they’re moving. It looks like it’s Goodbye Columbus 🙁

The National NeedleArts Association trade show is a time for education, shopping, and networking. It’s also for catching up with old friends. Due to the fact that I was teaching five classes, and had a full schedule of evening events, I accomplished the first two, but I felt a bit lacking on the third. I did get to see some friends, but as is often the case, there’s just never enough time to see all the people you wanted to see.

One of my biggest thrills is when I see my designs on the show floor.

I was also proud to be part of the Building Better Business Day. I’m passionate about strengthening our business (and if you are too, please visit your local yarn store).

My mind is always swimming after 4 1/2 days of smelling yarn fumes, so here’s a slide show to give you a little peak.

See you all in January!
