I have a brand new knitting class on Annie’s, so it’s time for a

Giveaway! Free Online Knitting Class

If you you’ve ever put a project in time out, or ripped when you didn’t have to, do I have a class for you (and you know me, I always fill it to the brim with extras!)

Knitting ER Giveaway

 From Annie’s:

Do you dread having to show up at your local yarn store again for a dropped stitch, pesky hole or just general knitting mayhem? Is the thought of having to rip out a project and start over enough to send you screaming and running for the hills?

Say no more! Join instructor Patty Lyons as she shows you how to diagnose your stitches and prescribe treatment as a knit doctor. Learn when to “tink” or unknit, versus when to “frog” or rip out your stitches, all while learning to become a mindful knitter. Patty’s effortless teaching style and humor make it easy to be engaged in the lessons. This is a class you will come back to again and again! In this Knitting ER class, you’ll learn how to become a mindful knitter, gaining the skill to understand your work and identify common knitting errors. You’ll also know how to spot a dropped stitch and quickly fix it with confidence.

In this video class you’ll learn how to:

  • Become a mindful knitter.
  • Read your knitting.
  • Employ knitting best practices that reduce the chance of there being a mistake to fix in the first place.
  • Identify common knitting errors.
  • Decide whether to “tink” or “frog” your knitting.
  • Properly “tink” or unknit.
  • Pick up drop stitches.
  • Safely “frog” or rip your stitches.
A free link for the class will be e-mailed to the winner (makes a great gift if you already have the class!). Giveaway will run now through 11:59 pm EST on October 7th, 2015 and winner will be announced by October 8th by 5:00 pm EST.

Enter to win by providing your email address in the first option in the Rafflecopter form so I can contact you if you win. For additional entries you can use the other options to share on social meidia. The more entries the better chance of winning!

Have some of your online classes and love them. I am thrilled with the clear, concise presentation of the material. Even I can understand it. LOL. Keep ’em coming.

  • So glad to have finally ‘met’ you in the forums. Even if I don’t win this class I’ll definitely check it out or others. 🙂

    Hi Patty,
I currently have your Advanced Knitting Fixes. Does this cover the same material? If so, if I win can I give it to my sister?

    Thanks for the chance.

HaHaHa, “Knitting ER”, so APTLY named, from one whose day job involves treating patients admitted from the ER, so yes, I completely understand the analogy. And boy oh boy would it be grand to learn all the needed knitting treatments for knitting accidents from knitting doctor Patty herself, my favorite knitting teacher of all time!

I am not on social media so I will take my chances with the entries I am allowed outside of Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. What I am sure of is that if I don’t happen to win, I will find a way to acquire this class no matter what. Doctor, heal thyself 🙂 Thank you, Patty!

This class would be awesome for me as I’m a rather new knitter and have problems understanding how to fix mistakes. Thanks so much for the chance to win!
