2016 Knitting Events: Spring & Early Summer
2016 has started out with a bang. A great teaching trip to TNNA and Vogue Knitting Live NYC. Now I’m getting ready to head out to Stitches West, but before January & February becomes a memory, here’s a round up of the Spring, Early Summer teaching jobs.
If you are in the New York area, you can book a private lesson with me here.
2016 Knitting Events – Spring & Early Summer
Pittsburgh Knit & Crochet Festival 2016
I’m very excited to be a part of the Pittsburgh Knit & Crochet Festival. This amazing show is in it’s 12th year, and this year it’s bigger than ever. They have expanded to join with the Pittsburgh Creative Arts Festival so if you love knit and crochet and quilting and paperwork and sewing and . . . well you get the idea. I’m thrilled to be included in a great line up of headliners including Edie Eckman, Shibaguyz, Robyn Chachula, Steven Berg and more!
Stitches South 2016
I finish up my March by going to Nashville! I couldn’t go to Stitches South last year due to a conflict and had to put up with seeing social media blow up with all the teachers and students posting pictures of the amazing venue, the amazing market and of course, of the cowboy boots they bought. I hope you can join me and a bunch of fab teachers at this very special show!
The thirtieth anniversary of Yarnover is here! If you are not a member of the guild, you can sign up just for the show (believe me, lots of folks do that). There are still a few spots left in my Customizing Sweater Patterns Class (Fix it is already sold out). The marketplace is mind blowing, AND Meg Swansen will be the keynote speaker at the Friday dinner!
Next up in April I’ll be heading over to Dayton Knitting Guild for their 21st annual Knitter’s Retreat. I’ll be teaching four of my favorite classes. This event is limited to 45 only and will fill up fast. I hope you can join us!
A quick zip across the country (straight from Dayton!) starts May with the San Diego North Coast Knitter’s Guild. I’ll be teaching four classes and giving an evening presentation that will have you in stitches! Membership dues are very inexpensive, so if you’ve been meaning to find a San Diego Guild . . . now’s your chance!.
Save the date for the West Coast VK Live! Classes have not been announced yet, but stay tuned for more details. If you’ve never been to a VK Live, it is a not to be missed event. Huge marketplace, fabulous free fashionshows, demos and of course. . . . the classes!
I finish off my May with a visit to the Westchester Knitting Guild. I’ll be presenting my “Secrets of Yarn Substitution”.
I’ll be giving you a round up of June, July and Aug events coming soon. Leave me a comment and let me know if you’re coming to one of the upcoming events!
