Summer 2016 Events (including a tropical get away!!)
How could it be nearly April. This year is going faster than ever. I’m lining up all sorts of fun things for the rest of 2016 and have even lined up some fab events for 2017. I promised a summer update, so here’s a round up of the Summer teaching events (HINT: read all the way down to the bottom of the page, I have a VERY exciting surprise!!!)
Don’t forget, if you know a shop or guild that would like me to come visit. Let them know they can make teaching requests here. See my full schedule here.
If you are in the New York area, you can book a private lesson with me live here, or book a online streaming lesson with me here.
Summer 2016 Knitting Events
MAY
In my last update I didn’t know what classes I was teaching yet for West Coast VK Live! Now classes are out!! If you’ve never been to a VK Live, it is a not to be missed event. Huge marketplace, fabulous free fashion shows, demos and of course. . . . the classes!
I finish off my May with a visit to the Westchester Knitting Guild. I’ll be presenting my “Secrets of Yarn Substitution”.
JUNE
Twice a year all the industry folks get together for our trade show TNNA. If you’re a shop owner, come on by and see me. I’m teaching four classes!
JULY
In July I’m going on VACATION, and after I get home, I’m really excited to be teaching at the adorable Altman Needlearts in Mattituck, NY. I hope you can join me. It looks like an adorable town.
AUGUST
Once again I will return to my home town (or a suburb of it) Chicago for Stitches Midwest. Last year classes sold out very quickly, so don’t miss out. Stay an extra few days and enjoy Chicago.
And to end the summer – DRUM ROLL PLEASE . . .
WE’RE GOING TO COSTA RICA!!
The second the class list is published and the booking link is live I will post it. For now, until the website is up, you can book directly by e-mailing aoknits36@gmail.com or call their US phone 856- 302-3156.
It will be a BLAST. Join me, Carol Sulcoski and Brooke Nico for knitting, sun and fun. We’ll be working on some fun KAL projects just for the trip (with hand dyed yarn by Carol!!). Make sure to join my Ravelry group to not miss any of the fun!
Here’s the deets I know:
