One thing I LOVE about Brooke’s designs is her commitment to not only a variety of shapes, but yarn weights. If you felt that you could never knit lace because you prefer heavier yarns, fear not. Some of my favorite projects are in heavier yarns.

All of the projects are fun and stunning. There are capelets, sweaters, tunics, and cowls. The lace projects look so delicate and beautiful. I am still a beginner when it comes to lace, but I always love learning and challenging myself with new skills in knitting. I love that burgundy sweater!

I consider myself an intermediate and love to knit lace. I am in a group that meets weekly and some are new knitters even though they joined the group a couple of years ago. I would like the book as a resource to encourage them to branch out and try something new.
