My Fellow Yarn Travelers
A few days ago I wrote about all my amazing students in 2016. As I was going through all my pictures I also came across a lot of happy memories of the fun I’ve had with my fellow yarny friends.
I spend about 1/3 of my year on the road. I have a wonderful husband and great friends at home. I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without them. But I also have a huge support group of friends on the road.
Here’s a little peek at the
Life of a Traveling Knitting Teacher!
A million thank yous to my “road wives” (you know who you are) and all my other pals that keep me sane through it all.
In fact 2016 began with me getting as sick as I’ve ever been (six weeks out of commission) and it happened to hit me during Vogue Knitting Live NYC. My pals came to the rescue by running out to get me a vaporizer and provided me with tea, and soup (and the amazing folks at Vogue got me a mic since I had NO voice.) This is life on the road!
Here’s my slide show of
Life with the Knitterati
How many of my fellow knitting teachers / designers / yarn folks can you name? Leave me a comment.
See you out there in 2017.
When is Vogue coming back to Seattle?
I can’t say . . . but keep your eyes open!
