Coast to Coast: Join Me at an Upcoming In-Person Event
After the past two long years, I think we can all agree that the need for human bonding is timeless. Hugging family members, seeing friends, or interacting with coworkers—these daily routines have become so precious since we haven’t been able to do them for so long.
I’m finally back on the road—I’ve had a few escape vacations with families and girlfriends—and I am ready for more in-person classes/events with you. If you are like me, miss the chances to be together, and you are ready to travel again (please don’t push yourself if you are not ready yet), I truly welcome you to join my upcoming adventures! Let’s have fun together.
Want to join me in-person? Here are some events across the U.S. and Canada where you’ll find me!

Are you dreaming of a perfect getaway with time for knitting and sipping wine? This October, attend an intimate Vogue Knitting Retreat with me and Safiyyah Talley in California. It is a perfect vacation with only 40 attendees, so you can fully RELAX with a small group of knitters and have time to get to know everyone. We only have less than 10 spots left, so register sooner than later!
I’m looking forward to spending the weekend (Nov. 4–6) at Yarning for Ewe in Atlanta! I will teach three classes including “Customizing Sweater Patterns”, “A Cornucopia of Cool Color-work Techniques”, and “Circular Knitting Bag of Tricks”. I will also do a book signing. Will you join us?
November 11-13, join Lucy Neatby and I at Rosehaven Wool & Wine Retreat which will be held at Isaiah Tubbs Resort, Prince Edward County, Canada. Let’s knit, sip, and repeat. I think it’s going to be FUN!
Festivals
Wool ewe be there? I will be teaching four classes (one of them has sold out) at the PEI Fibre Festival in Prince Edward Island, Canada—gorgeous! It is a celebration of all things fiber including a marketplace, a fiber fan lounge, and classes. Click on the button to check out the schedule and get your ticket today. Time for an adventure!
It’s almost time for another Rhinebeck—that’s the New York State Sheep & Wool Festival for you newbies! The registration is not open yet, but spread the word and save the dates. I can’t wait to see you at this year’s meet up! As our tradition, come say hi and swap stories! It will be even more perfect if you put on one of your Patty Lyons patterns, and we’ll take a group photo! PLUS, this year I’ll be signing books in the author tent, and I hope to see you there! The event is still in the process of planning, so subscribe to my newsletter and stay tuned for more details.
Leave me a comment and let me know if you will be joining me. And don’t forget to check out the COVID policy from the events before you hit the road. Keep safe, let’s have fun, and knit on!
For those of you who can’t make it in-person: don’t worry, I’ve got something for you. it’s FREE to join the community group on my education site— there is a discussion board where you can share pictures and chat with like-minded crafters. Even if you are not signed up for any classes (yet), you are very welcome. Click here to learn more about how to join the fun!
I just learned about the Maker and Stitch knitting retreat in Colorado in July 2023 which is already full. Will you be doing any other workshops while you are in Colorado this coming summer?
I don’t have any plans right now.
