NOTE: Due to a health issue with the organizer, this retreat will have to be postponed. I will keep all up to date.
Costa Rica Knitting Retreat!
August 27th – September 3rd, 2016
|For sixteen years Hope and Barry Blazer had a wonderful yarn shop, Accents On Knits in Morristown, NJ. Fourteen months ago they “semi-retired” to live the dream in Costa Rica where they established Accents on Knits Limitada to host our “Knitting Retreats to Costa Rica”.|
Join me, Carol Sulcoski and Brooke Nico for 7 days of knitting, sun and fun!
Yesterday morning it was in the 30s when I woke up, so I’m not gonna lie, I’m doing a bit of California dreaming. Luckily I don’t have wait to long, since Vogue Knitting Live Pasadena is just 4 weeks away. If you haven’t booked yet . . . hop onto Kayak and find a flight, this is not to be missed!
Vogue Knitting Live Pasadena
How could it be nearly April. This year is going faster than ever. I’m lining up all sorts of fun things for the rest of 2016 and have even lined up some fab events for 2017. I promised a summer update, so here’s a round up of the Summer teaching events (HINT: read all the way down to the bottom of the page, I have a VERY exciting surprise!!!)
Summer 2016 Knitting Events
2016 has started out with a bang. A great teaching trip to TNNA and Vogue Knitting Live NYC. Now I’m getting ready to head out to Stitches West, but before January & February becomes a memory, here’s a round up of the Spring, Early Summer teaching jobs.
If you are in the New York area, you can book a private lesson with me here.
2016 Knitting Events – Spring & Early Summer
That makes for two weeks full of yarn, friends, classes, amazing students, and this year . . . a killer cold that knocked me on my &%$#. The fact that 13 days later I’m still sick, might explain why this blog took so long to write.
2015 went so fast! I was so lucky to get to travel all over the country meeting and teaching (and being taught by) the most amazing knitters around. The year took me to knitting shows, guilds, shops, and back in the studio to film 2 more DVDs, and through it all, you were there.

UPDATE – Registration is now open for the 2017 Cruise. CLICK HERE for info.
I’ve had a few days to recover from an amazing trip with two incredible knitting teachers, one great ship, and over 100 fantastic knitters. If you want to laugh non stop for five days, I suggest hanging out with Melissa Leapman, Laura Nelkin, and this group of knitters.
The fall and the spring are often crazy busy times in the life of a full time knitting teacher and designer. This spring was no exception . . . a perfect storm of crazy. Four sweaters designs due, three new classes to finish, two new online class scripts to finish, and back to back teaching trips = 44 hours of teaching in eleven days!
