What is a KAL / Video Sweater Class?
A KAL—short for knit-along—is a group activity, where hundreds of knitters are working the same pattern at the same time. It is a great way to work a pattern with the support of hundreds of knitters, and I’m there to guide you every step of the way!
Several times a year I run knit-alongs through my education platform. Make sure to join the group to be able to get the most out of your KAL experience.
When you join one of my KALs you will get a full sweater class for just the price of a pattern. You will get hours of video tutorials that are exclusive to the KAL participants and never expire and you get a chance to win PRIZES!!
FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Each time a new pattern clue is released, it will be updated on the KAL site. The pattern will grow (so the part 2 release will have part 1 & 2, part 3 will have 1, 2, 3 etc.).
Where are the Videos?
All your videos, and tutorials will be in your class page on https://education.pattylyons.com/. The pattern PDFs will also have inks in red that will take you to your tutorials. As long as you are logged into your class, you can watch the lessons in your course player, or if you are knitting with your pattern pdf on your internet connected device, just click on the link and it will go right to your lesson.
NOTE: If you have an older video sweater class pattern, all your videos and tutorials are the red links in your pattern. Just click them on an internet connected device.
The videos and tutorials never expire.
REMEMBER: all unused yarn is returnable, when purchasing from the suggested retailer!
